Dear Deviantart, I will tag @team @akiestar @ggMattB @Moonbeam13 @Heidi @spyed @humblehills @ikazon @danlev I was wondering, what does it take to be featured or be interviewed by the staff? Do I have have to have certain requirements? Because I notice you're trying to be more community oriented by featuring more artist, or is it only meant for artist with a big name and or have a certain amount of attention? I want to know.
Eclipse Rant...vent whatever. I need your opinion.
tldr; Can we please go back to this....or....find a way to modernize the layout to be like this...I swear I started tearing up looking at my old screenshots before dA decided this.....unfortunate change... I'm sorry. I just cannot take this site anymore with this terrible Eclipse. Now I see that the staff is going to change things with the comments I saw in their recent addition seeing Post in a different way (which honestly reminds me of what they tried in 2014) but I'm sorry. Everything is just too slow, the layout still is confusing and uncomfortable. I felt dA should have waited a bit longer before making Eclipse permanent. What I mean is they should have stopped with the Switch option and allowed us to stay with the classic dA first and adjusted things for Eclipse before doing this. I find myself coming on this site less and less lately or forgetting sometimes to come on. I only come on for Group things. IT IS A BLESSING THAT GROUPS ARE STILL THE SAME. THANK GOD. It's easier and
20 Years? Lackluster vent?
Well dA has been around for 20 years. Congrats. But...there's just something lackluster about this Anniversary... You know, ever since dA has been going a bit downhill for the past like 4 years, I just feel. things haven't been the same. Seeing the dA post/journal about how it came to be, even their other journal post about 20th Birthday collection, it just feels like everything is just...idk how to explain. It feels like there's no better chance now for artist to have chances like they did in the 2000s or early 2010s. DA honestly is was the place where many art celebrities were born, but to only promote them over and over again, it gives new people no chances especially if they started on dA as a beginner. And now with art sites dying down and with algorithms and what not, dA lost what made dA, dA. I WISH I could have had that opportunity to have great art when I started dA. I WISH i could have a career because of my art skills from dA. I WISH dA...well it would be hard to do that
Hey an UPDATE
Hey guys. For those who still want to be apart of Estheira-Way, I've been talking to one of the mods and we are thinking of taking this group to a discord server and also making it into an actual website. We're not 100% on this yet, but yea. Ever since dA made some drastic changes ...for the worse let's be honest, I'm afraid that groups will end up having the same problem. When dA announced no more HTML/CSS Coding, I lost motivating to even continue decorating the group because it demotivated everything we had planned and a lot of people have left this site to places like discord, twitter, etc. And even now, the new dA....I just cannot handle. I'm trying trust me...but idk how groups will be in the future and I can't upgrade this place to a super anymore due to dA getting rid of that option. Unfortunately, Discord doesn't have customization or the functionality like dA has, but we are going to be discussing this. I really want to continue this group because before the Eclipse
